STAM is a private engineering company founded in 1997, with a staff of more than 10 people, and based in Genoa, Italy. The main mission of the company is to provide engineering services to industries. STAM is a SME member of E2BA(Energy Efficient Builgins Association), and it is also supplier of the European Space Agency since 1999 with the Technology Transfer Programme. STAM has also developed a significant experience in working with the funding instruments of the European Commission under FP5, FP6 and FP7. In European Research, STAM has been involved as participant in more than 50 Projects in the last 10 years, in the fields of advanced mechatronic systems, automation, energy efficiency and new materials.
A significant part of STAM business is focused on design, prototype development, modelling and simulation, offering its services to the aerospace, industrial and energy fields, and to other high-tech sectors. STAM uses modelling techniques for the design of advanced mechatronic systems, based on conventional and nonconventional approaches. STAM will provide key personnel with strong expertise in the respective research and development areas. These key people have participated to several international and national collaborative projects, and will be supported by and will lead technical and administrative staff people, in order to perform all the project activities.
